Christina Aguilera Confirms Marriage Separation

Just five years after marrying pop star Christina Aguilera reports have confirmed that her and husband Jordon Bratman have separated.
After the meeting in 2002, the couple married three years later in California and not long after they were overjoyed at the birth of their now two year old son, who they named Max.
Jordon moved from the family home after Christina returned from a trip to Mexico with girlfriends to attend Nicole Richie's bachelorette party that same say, and that caused some tension between the now separated pair. This seemed to be "final straw" between them as it is believed that they had decided to go their own way a while ago.
Christina is in the process of doing additional shooting for her new movie Burlesque and had spent a lot of time away from Jordon and the family home. Jordon is now staying with friends for the time being.

It's always sad to hear of a marriage break up and even worse if there are children involved, and in the media spotlight at such an emotional time can only add more stress. Regardless of the outcome, they will hopefully join the few strong enough to go through their separation while at the same time be committed to the education of their son and with no animosity between them.

With each new year comes a continual flow of obligations and wedding planning, wedding showers and piles of bridal magazines. Every bride wants her marriage to be absolutely perfect, and in all respects it should celebrate her and her groom. There are endless wedding ideas and so many places to find them that it is often overwhelming. However, allow me to share some special thoughts on Weddings ideas.

These days, we see bright and bold wedding color schemes, something that is quite different from previous years of more subtle colors. Don't be afraid to get out and try something new, something that might be a little different than you've ever seen at a wedding before. Top color schemes for include orange, brown and champagne, yellow, orange and pink, blue, and still, the ever famous, black and white.

Wedding cake trends are very interesting as well. Ideas include hexagonal and square-shaped cake or cupcake square-shaped towers. While bold is definitely in, classic still reigns, with elegant black and white being high on the list., however, don't be afraid to be adventurous. (Maybe cake isn't your thing, and you would rather treat your guests to brownie sundaes!)

With the more modern age, the concept of wedding favors is also changing. Something very important these days that the favor should be commemorative while also being practical. Some ideas may be a special dessert with a recipe card attached, flower seed cards, or even a candy buffet! Again, be creative, and try to make a personal touch. (i.e. the bride and groom like baking chocolate chip cookies together, so give away cookies and bottles of chocolate milk!)

No wedding gifts for Russell Brand and Katy Perry

British comedian Russell Brand and American pop-star Katy Perry asked and family and friends not to buy them any lavish wedding presents earlier this month in India.

The couple say that they feel that it is indulgent to ask for things when they already have so much and would prefer more money went to needier causes.

The showbiz couple had a small intimate wedding keeping with all the traditions such as the first dance and the wedding breakfast.

Russell will not have alcohol at the reception of his wedding since he turned teetotal a while back, and even his stag night was mild given how wild his past days were.

Undertaker Charged With Sham Wedding Ceremony

Those who took part in a sham marriage six years ago were sentenced at Crown Court yesterday in Northern Ireland.

Glen Baxter had convinced himself that one day his Chinese "Bride" Nicole May Chen would fall in love with him and she would still have a long and happy life but after tying the knot in the Castereagh Registry Office they both went their own way and started new lives with other partners.

The sham wedding was held with no reception, cake, cars or even a wedding dress.

A loan of three thousand pounds was given to Glen as he went on with the marriage with the promise of an opportunity to invest in a Chinese restaurant that never took place and he has since paid back all the money.

The couple met when Nicole worked in a restaurant in Bangor that Glen regularly visited and as time went on, his feelings grew for her and he was asked to become Nicole's man, so she could avoid deportation.

The twenty seven year old undertaker, who pleaded guilty to a sham marriage so they could remain in Northern Ireland when Nicole's visa expired, got more than two hundred hours of community service. Nicole was sentenced to nine months in prison with a suspensded sentence of two years.

A wedding costs what?!

Your wedding day is the most beautiful, special day of your life. It can also be the most stressful if you don't have a well thought budget. Knowing who spends what and how much they spend is the most important first step. You must have an actual figure and know where every dollar goes. From here you can list of all of the "must haves" for your wedding and then decide how much to spend on each item. A wedding means different things to different people, so that the percentage of the budget that is spent on each item will be different for everyone. You must prioritize and decide what's most important to you and your fiance.

Once you know where the money is coming from, you must create a guest list. In this list you can create a budget for about 85-90% of people that you invite. Once you have a date and a ceremony planned, you need to decide on a reception venue. Make sure you have all the important questions, forgetting the details could hurt your budget later. Is alcohol included? What about decor, centerpieces? Does the package include a cake? Once a price has been fixed per capita, deduct the cost from your total available budget.

Then comes photography/videography and entertainment. As the day goes these are the memories that you and your guests will take away, so they are important. Choose a photographer with a personality that matches your own. Make sure you like their photo style and you get comfortable with them, in this way they will be able to capture the best, most memorable moments of your day.
