Bride was told she can't Marry

Earlier this year, only forty hours before her wedding, 18-year-old Kerry Robinson told by social workers she would not be allowed to marry her fiancé Mark McDougall.

Social services in Fife, Scotland, believed Kerry was not able to understand the consequences of the marriage and while she was pregnant, they stopped the wedding site.

Kerry who has mild learning disabilities was devastated when her newborn baby was taken at four days old because social workers believed that Kerry and her partner would not be able to care for him.

Fortunately, a few months later, Kerry and son Marco was returned to them and the couple were allowed to finally tie the knot this week in Co Kilkenny.
